President - Scott A. Treasurer - Tom Isaacs, Esq. has extensive experience representing a diverse lineup of businesses in litigation, including in product liability, personal injury, contractual, antitrust, regulatory, corporate governance and business tort matters. Tom has been responsible for all phases of such cases, including pre-litigation claim assessment, development and execution of case strategy, written discovery, depositions, motion practice, expert witness retention and preparation, settlement negotiations and overall case management.  Tom currently serves as National Discovery Counsel for a major automotive manufacturer in state and federal courts throughout the United States. His eDiscovery experience is very well-rounded, covering everything from document production, collection and review, as well as litigation holds and clawback agreements. He is well-versed with federal and state eDiscovery rules and requirements, and has recently published two articles on eDiscovery topics involving predictive coding and adverse influencing. Membership – Penny Jones serves as Harness Dickey’s Relativity Administrator and Litigation Support Specialist as well as Senior Technical Trainer.  In this role, she is responsible for educating and training the lawyers and staff in the areas of ESI, LAW Pre-Discovery and Relativity as well as processes, imports and exports data.  For more than twenty years, Penny has enjoyed a diverse career in law firm IT, including court room evidence presentation in more than 25 trials in both state and federal courts.  Penny is a boat owner and loves to golf. Public Relations – Denise B. Bach, CEDS is a Vice President, Enterprise Sales at Stroz Friedberg, an Aon company. She has extensive experience in Digital Forensics, eDiscovery and Cybersecurity and works with law firms, corporate counsel, litigation support managers and paralegals to bridge the gap between the legal process and technology. Denise’s experience with eDiscovery projects from collection through production spans many industries including manufacturing, automotive, finance, retail, marketing, government, energy, healthcare and insurance. Secretary Ingrid Evert, Esq. concentrates her practice on defending automotive manufacturers in product liability actions and serves as national discovery counsel for a major automobile manufacturer in litigation involving airbags and rollover curtains, safety belts, event data recorders, handling and stability, roof and crashworthiness. Ingrid maintains a strong focus on handling all aspects of written discovery which includes interfacing daily with an international automotive company. Ingrid also is knowledgeable in the area of discovery management including collecting, processing and producing hard copy documents and electronically stored information. Prior to working with Bowman and Brooke, Ingrid worked as an attorney on contracts with several leading automotive suppliers of seating, interior, exterior, safety and emission control technologies. In this role, she focused on contractual and warranty matters as well as litigation support and eDiscovery, including document collection, review and production. Prior to graduating from the University of Detroit Mercy School of law in 2007, Ingrid served as legal assistant to the assistant general counsel of product and regulatory affairs at one of the world's leading automobile manufacturers. Chairman of the Board / Advisor - Barbara Bennett, CEDS has more than 30 years of experience working in the legal industry and has worked specifically in the eDiscovery area for the last 12 years.  Barbara currently works for the world’s seventh largest automobile manufacturer in their IT Legal department where she helps manage the eDiscovery litigation software platform.  Barbara also works with legal counsel advises regarding document review workflow best practices, searching protocols and client productions.  Barbara holds the CEDS certification from the Association of Certified eDiscovery Specialists, and is also a Relativity Certified Administrator.  Being passionate regarding the education surrounding eDiscovery best practices, Barbara participates on the ACEDS’ advisory board is the former President of the ACEDS Detroit Chapter. Jay Yelton, III, Esq. is a veteran attorney who has spent much of the past two decades designing and implementing plans and programs that help clients manage electronic documents, prepare for litigation and develop eDiscovery strategies.
