Women in eDiscovery Announces 2019 Conference

MINNEAPOLIS, MN – November 14, 2018 Women in eDiscovery, an organization that brings together women interested in technology related to the legal profession, announced today its first-ever conference. The conference will be held at the W Austin Hotel, Austin, Texas, May 8-10, 2019.

The core elements of the conference will include educational sessions, many networking and relationship-building opportunities and ways to renew the passion for professional and personal wellness.

“We are excited to announce our first-ever conference,” states Beth Finkle, executive director of Women in eDiscovery. “Women in eDiscovery is a vibrant organization that continues to grow and evolve, and we are thrilled to have this opportunity for our members to come together to celebrate everything that WiE represents – knowledge, network and renewal.”

Registration is now open and limited to 250 total attendees. Registration is available to WiE members exclusively for a three-week period. It will then be open to the public starting on December 4, which is also E-Discovery Day. For more information on becoming a WiE member, visit https://www.womeninediscovery.org/join-us.

Sponsorship opportunities are available. For more information, contact Jackie Rosborough at jackie.rosborough@womeninediscovery.org.

High-level conference details and agenda are available on the WiE website. More information will be added as it becomes available. This conference is expected to sell out from both the attendee and sponsorship perspective. Members are encouraged to register as soon as possible.

Women in eDiscovery members are women who work within the legal industry, including general counsel, secretaries, partners, associates, chief operating officers, paralegals, litigation support and eDiscovery professionals. Membership is free, and its executive board, regional directors and chapter officers operate on a 100 percent volunteer basis.

Local chapters typically hold an educational session, some CLE-accredited, each month, and the national board organizes larger events around major legal technology trade shows and association meetings throughout the year.
