Sonya Judkins, CEDSSonya Judkins, CEDS
Manager, Legal Discovery/Compliance

Sonya Judkins is Manager of Legal Discovery and Compliance at T-Mobile. Prior to joining T-Mobile in June 2020, Sonya held the same position at Sprint for over 12 years. As part of the Discovery & Information Governance (DIG) team at T-Mobile, Mrs. Judkins is responsible for a variety of e-discovery areas including Information Governance best practices, Emerging Technology best practices, Information Governance and discovery training and collections and document reviews. Sonya specializes in the areas of in-house legal/litigation practices and procedures, management of core-team efforts to implement policies, procedures and tools helping to mitigate risks associated with the preservation and production of electronically stored information thereby ensuring compliance with Federal and State laws and regulations.

At Sprint, she was also responsible for coordination and assistance to the Records Retention and Compliance team and IT functional areas. Mrs. Judkins joined Nextel Communications in September 1999 as an executive assistant for the commercial contracts group and was promoted to Legal Analyst in November 2002. Mrs. Judkins assumed her discovery responsibilities in March 2008 after the merger of Nextel and Sprint. Sonya lives in the Northern Virginia area and in her free time enjoys spending time with her family and shoe shopping.

Mrs. Judkins received her undergraduate degree magna cum laude in Business Administration with an emphasis for contracts and acquisitions from Strayer University in Alexandria, Virginia.

Gary Swenson is a sales and marketing professional in the legal technology industry. His tenure spans over 20 years where he has established many colleagues and friendships. Gary’s current role is Senior Discovery Consultant with Liquid Litigation Management (LLM). LLM offers a fully integrated end-to-end discovery platform, Lit Manager, along with eDiscovery consulting and services. Originally Gary is from Minneapolis, MN where he started his legal technology career with Control Data Corporation (CDC). A current resident of Washington, DC, Gary also resided in Manhattan for many years. Gary has consulted on many complex litigation matters and investigations. His clients include multi-national corporations and law firms within the United States and abroad.

Mike Quartararo, CEDSMike Quartararo, CEDS

Mike Quartararo is the President of the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS), which provides training and certification in e-discovery to the legal community. He is the author of the 2016 book Project Management in Electronic Discovery and has been successfully consulting in information governance, e-discovery, project management and legal technology for two decades, including 10-year stints at both Skadden Arps and Stroock. He is a certified Project Management Professional and a Certified E-Discovery Specialist. He frequently writes and speaks on e-discovery, legal operations, project management and technology topics.
