Chairman and Chief Strategy Officer
Johannes C. Scholtes, professor and holder of the Extraordinary Chair in Text Mining in the Artificial Intelligence group at the University of Maastricht and CSO of ZyLAB. Johannes C. Scholtes, Ph.D. is Chairman and Chief Strategy Officer of ZyLAB and president of the Benelux ACEDS Chapter. Scholtes assisted organizations such as United Nations War Crime Tribunals, FBI-Enron investigations, and the United States White House Executive Office of the President implementing investigative eDiscovery solutions. Before joining ZyLAB, Scholtes was a lieutenant in the intelligence department of the Royal Dutch Navy. Scholtes holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Delft University of Technology and a Ph.D. in Computational Linguistics from the University of Amsterdam.
Jeffrey Wolff, CEDS

Jeffrey Wolff has been serving as eDiscovery Director at ZyLAB since 2015 and currently oversees the product direction and marketing strategy for ZyLAB’s North American corporate market. Prior to joining ZyLAB, Mr. Wolff has over 25 years of professional experience in information systems and enterprise software. He has been involved in solution architecture, design, and implementation for a variety of major projects within the Department of Defense and Fortune 1000 corporations.
Angela Emmerling Shapiro, CEDS, CIPP/US
Angela is a litigation shareholder based in Butzel Long's Detroit office.She has extensive experience in all aspects of commercial litigation, with a strong focus on E-Discovery. Angela leverages her training and years of experience to efficiently and cost-effectively guide clients through complicated global and domestic E-Discovery requirements in lawsuits, arbitrations, and governmental investigations (including DOJ, NHTSA and Congressional investigations). Angela has been repeatedly recognized by her peers andDBusiness Magazineas a "Top Lawyer" in the areas of Information Management and E-Discovery. Mike Quartararo, CEDS
Mike Quartararo is the President of the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS), which provides training and certification in e-discovery to the legal community. He is the author of the 2016 book Project Management in Electronic Discovery and has been successfully consulting in information governance, e-discovery, project management and legal technology for two decades, including 10-year stints at both Skadden Arps and Stroock. He is a certified Project Management Professional and a Certified E-Discovery Specialist. He frequently writes and speaks on e-discovery, legal operations, project management and technology topics.
