More details and directions below:

Balfour Beatty’s office is located at 3100 McKinnon St., Dallas, TX  75201 at the cross section of Ivan St. and McKinnon St. (just south of the Dallas North Tollway and Harry Hines split).  The brown stair stepped building is 11 stories tall with Balfour Beatty both on the building and signs near the front street approach.  Balfour Beatty is directly next-door to the Skye of Turtle Creek luxury residential high-rise.

There are 4 numbered parking garages at Balfour Beatty (P1 – P4).  Please Park in the garage labeled P3 – Visitor Parking.  There are large clearly marked signs to follow to P3 – Visitor Parking.

Once parked, head inside the building and take the elevator to the 1st floor.  Exit through the glass doors heading to the outdoor roof deck where you will be greeted and directed inside to the Annex Meeting Room for the ACEDS meeting.

The Annex has his and hers locker rooms for changing into running attire after the meeting and before the Katy Trail Walk/Run.

We recommend storing any bags of clothes or personal items in your car after changing, as the locker rooms may be locked after the Happy Hour event concludes.

Take the elevator to P1 (button is marked “Katy Trail”) and walk to the back of the parking garage towards the trail; you’ll see a mural of the trail and an iron gate.  There is a private gated door with a keycode lock that opens directly to Katy Trail.  The door will lock behind you once closed.  The door code on Wednesday, March 27 will be 315816.  You will need to enter the code to both enter and exit Katy Trail.

Turning right on the trail from the gated door, the Katy Trail Ice House is .25 miles down the trail on the right (a 5 minute walk).  They have a sign on the Trail and you will see ample outdoor seating.

Take a left from the Katy Trail Ice House and the Balfour Beatty garage entrance is .25 miles up the trail on your left (a 5 minute walk).  The entrance is easy to miss and overshoot.  First, look for the Skye of Turtle Creek sign and Balfour Beatty is the very next brown building with a small walkway leading to the locked gated door.  The sign on the wall at Balfour Beatty’s entrance reads Bradford Katy Citymark.

If you get locked out, can’t find the trail, can’t find the meeting, or just need a high-five, please call or text Aaron Bath on his cell at 214-701-4359.
