Mary Mack, CEDS
Executive Director

Mary Mack is a long-time industry expert with over 25 years of experience and leadership to her credit. Under her leadership, ACEDS furthers its commitment of building an international community of e-discovery practitioners for the exchange of training, certification, professional development and networking. Mack is known for her strength in relationship and community building, as well as for the depth of her e-discovery knowledge. Before joining ACEDS, Mary was the Enterprise Technology Counsel for ZyLAB, a global eDiscovery and Intelligent Information Governance software company focused on helping organizations insource eDiscovery to reduce legal spend and prevent privacy breaches and IP leakage. Prior to eDiscovery, Mary designed, coded, tested and maintained mission critical enterprise systems for banks, health insurers and pharmaceutical companies. Certified in eDiscovery, security, access and identity management, forensics and computer telephony, Mary is admitted to the Illinois bar and a graduate of Northwestern University School of Law. Mary is the author of A Process of Illumination: The Practical Guide to Electronic Discovery and the co-editor of Thomson Reuters West’s eDiscovery for Corporate Counsel.


Kaylee Walstad, CEDS
VP of Client Engagement

Kaylee Walstad is the VP of Client Engagement at ACEDS. In her role, Walstad works closely with affiliates, corporate and government entities, and law firms to educate and validate the expertise of their eDiscovery teams. She is also a part of ACEDS chapter team supporting their current chapters and assisting in the formation strategy of new chapters as well. Walstad has a broad background of eDiscovery experience and skill that uniquely positions her to provide insight into the challenges faced by the end-users of eDiscovery services and technology and the organizations serving them. She has extensive expertise in developing cross organizational discovery strategies for large litigation and investigations. Additionally, she is the Central Region Director for Women in eDiscovery and has been a Board of Directors’ member since 2012, a Masters Conference board member and a member of Women in Homeland Security.

 

Suzanne Clark, CEDS

Suzanne H. Clark directs the Legal Project Management practice of eDiscovery CoCounsel, pllc.   Suzanne graduated from the University of Florida College of Law and began her legal career as merits counsel in commercial litigation. She later transitioned to a full-time focus on Electronic Discovery and is a nationally recognized speaker and panelist in eDiscovery education.  She is a veteran of numerous document review projects, large and small, ranging from a  multi-year SEC investigation involving millions of documents in Relativity to small single-event cases for personal injury firms. She holds the Certified Electronic Discovery Specialist (CEDS) designation of ACEDS, a certification requiring a rigorous peer reviewed examination in information technology, Project Management fundamentals, evidence management technology, and discovery jurisprudence. She is a frequent lecturer at legal Project Management educational events, including the annual University of Florida eDiscovery Conference, as well as numerous others. Suzanne co-founded the regional chapter of ACEDS which was later recognized as national Chapter of the Year for its vibrancy and outreach, and currently serves as President of ACEDS Jacksonville. She has served in various other leadership roles including as chair of the Jacksonville Bar Association’s Legal Technology Committee and as a board member of the Jacksonville Women Lawyer’s Association. She continues her membership in these organizations, as well as Women in eDiscovery and The Florida Bar Business Litigation Section’s E-Discovery and Digital Evidence Committee.

 

Parke McManis, CEDS

Parke McManis is an attorney who specializes in large-scale and complex eDiscovery matters. In his role as a Client Director for Complete Discovery Source, Parke oversees operations and works with clients that include government agencies, corporations, and law firms. He has almost a decade of eDiscovery-specific experience and has worked with and provided training on a variety of technologies, including leading-edge software and advanced analytics.
