ACEDS NY Metro Chapter is proud to support Life Preservers Project's 9th Annual Summer Art Auction & Benefit. This event is Life Preservers Project’s largest fundraiser of the year and a festive highlight of the summer season! The event welcomes art lovers, musicians and other creatives to network and meet with members of the legal community.
Tickets are available for $20 in advance or $25 at the door. All ticket sales are considered tax deductible. Tickets can be purchased here.
During the evening, a raffle will be held, which will include 1 ACEDS E-Discovery Essentials package. ACEDS University: E-Discovery Essentials is an interactive, self-paced course that explores aspects of the e-discovery process, from preservation, to collection and review. This course is ideal for individuals preparing for the Certified E-Discovery Specialists (CEDS) examination and those new to the e-discovery field.
Works of art from $100 to $1000 are available in silent auctions. Donated by local NYC artists, collectors and galleries, much of the work was produced specifically for this event.
The“Island Vibe” themed fundraiser marks their 9th anniversary and supports Life Preservers Project's mission: "To collaborate with artists, musicians, filmmakers, and writers along with other like minded charities to educate and entertain while raising awareness and much-needed funds for the victims of Human Trafficking both locally and internationally."
Attendees are encouraged to support emerging and established artists, including members of the e-discovery industry, who have 'donated' their works to assist Life Preservers Project meet their fundraising goals.
The event is more casual than your average gala and guarantees a great time for all with music, food and fun including an opportunity to throw a pie in the face of a legal community professional. Proceeds support Life Preservers Project's initiatives throughout the year.
