Doug Kaminski serves as director of major accounts for Relativity. In his 20+ years in the legal industry, Doug has consulted with some of the world’s most highly regulated companies, including many Fortune 100 companies, to help them gain control of their data and tackle their unique challenges surrounding e-discovery and information governance. Prior to joining Relativity, Doug served as senior director of information governance at Huron Consulting Group (now Consilio) and held positions at Symantec, Clearwell Systems, Wolters Kluwer, and LexisNexis Document Solutions.
Mary is known for her skills in relationship and community building as well as for the depth of her e-discovery knowledge. Frequently sought out by media for comment on industry issues, she has spoken at venues including Gartner Symposium, the American Bar Association International Law Committee, the Association of Corporate Counsel annual conference, and others. Mary is the author of A Process of Illumination: The Practical Guide to Electronic Discovery, considered by many to be the first popular book on e-discovery. She is the co-editor of the Thomson Reuters West treatise, eDiscovery for Corporate Counsel. Prior to joining ACEDS, Mary most recently served in a leadership role for ZyLab, a global provider of e-discovery and intelligent information governance software. Before that, she was with Fios, Inc. a provider of e-discovery services to Fortune 1,000 corporations and major law firms. A member of the Illinois State Bar, Mary received her bachelor’s degree from Le Moyne College and her law degree from Northwestern University School of Law.
Director of Strategic Partnerships
Kaylee Walstad is the Director of Strategic Partnerships at ACEDS. In her role, Walstad works closely with affiliates, corporate and government entities, and law firms to educate and validate the expertise of their eDiscovery teams. She is also a part of ACEDS chapter team supporting their current chapters and assisting in the formation strategy of new chapters as well. Walstad has a broad background of eDiscovery experience and skill that uniquely positions her to provide insight into the challenges faced by the end-users of eDiscovery services and technology and the organizations serving them. She has extensive expertise in developing cross organizational discovery strategies for large litigation and investigations. Additionally, she is the Central Region Director for Women in eDiscovery and has been a Board of Directors’ member since 2012, a Masters Conference board member and a member of Women in Homeland Security.
