About CEDS Certification
The Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS) Certification responds to the need for professionals with diverse skills and knowledge across the e-discovery spectrum. It facilitates sound hiring practices, advances careers and gives a competitive advantage to individuals who earn it and their employers. By becoming CEDS Certified, professionals show employers they are equipped to tackle a wide range of e-discovery challenges.
The CEDS Certification is awarded to persons who meet certain qualification standards and pass a rigorous certification examination administered at one of 600 proctored testing centers. The exam is constructed with the help of 50 experts under the strict auspices of a psychometric firm and a worldwide survey. This produces a neutral, legally defensible professional certification examination and program. The certification covers topics including project planning, litigation hold implementation, document review, data processing, budgeting and more.
