Archer & Greiner to Host Launch Meeting for New ACEDS Philadelphia Chapter

Archer & Greiner (Archer) will host the launch meeting of the new Philadelphia Chapter of the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS) in the law firm’s new Logan Square offices. ACEDS expansion into the Philadelphia region furthers the Association’s commitment to promoting e-discovery competence and professional development.

With the unprecedented demand for e-discovery skills and continued growth of the industry, especially in top markets such as Philadelphia, the new chapter will play a critical role for e-discovery professionals in keeping pace with advances in the field, providing members the opportunity to broaden their contacts and influence within the e-discovery community, collaborate with experts, and foster knowledge among peers who face similar challenges. In addition, ACEDS offers the first and only CEDS™ professional certification.

Mr. Michael Reeve, Archer’s Litigation Technology Manager, is helping to get the newest ACEDS chapter off the ground. Serving as Board Treasurer of the new Philadelphia Chapter, Mr. Reeve said, “The launch of ACEDS Philadelphia Chapter has been met with great enthusiasm.” He added, “This is an important step for the Association as it continues to build a global community of e-discovery specialists to exchange ideas, guidance, training and best practices.”

Mr. Reeve will join ACEDS Philadelphia Chapter President, Ms. Nikki Perella of Golkow Litigation Services, in hosting the launch meeting on May 24th from 12:15 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. at Archer’s offices located at Three Logan Square, 1717 Arch Street, Suite 3500. Attendees will get to know the Chapter Board members through an interactive panel discussion, which will include several hot industry topics such as Updated Federal Rules, the Internet of Things now – sources of digital evidence, and the upcoming GDPR.

Attendees will also be able to network, learn the benefits of joining ACEDS Philadelphia Chapter and hear about upcoming events. There is no cost to attend the first two chapter meetings.
