Congress to Exec: Secure Tweets

A bipartisan letter from the leadership of the Congressional Committee on Oversight and Government Reform was sent to the White House counsel regarding records retention, encryption and social media on March 8, 2017.

Jason Chaffetz (@jasoninthehouse) and Elijah Cummings (@RepCummings) sent a request for information about adherence to archiving and preservation required by the Presidential Records Act regarding specifically using personal email or transitory messaging systems like Signal, Confide and WhatsApp.

Answers are due March 22, 2017 in Concordance Opticon format.
