Jeff Goreski to join ACEDS Advisory Board

Jeff Goreski, technology, e-discovery and data preservation pioneer, becomes first Canadian to join ACEDS Advisory Board
– The Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists today announced the appointment to its Advisory Board of Jeff Goreski, an e-discovery and technology expert in Toronto, who created the first global discovery and email preservation software. He is the first Canadian to be appointed to the Advisory Board of ACEDS, a global organization with certified e-discovery specialists in six countries, and a charter member of the charter class of Certified E-Discovery Specialists.
Chief technology officer at Computer Generated Solutions, a leader in technology-driven business solutions, Mr. Goreski designs data mapping, email archiving and document retention policies. Founder and CEO of 1378847 Ontario Inc, a provider of data processing and hosting, he has pioneered innovative software and hardware systems for corporations and municipalities for 30 years. His list of notable clients includes New York City, UPS, Honda and the National Basketball Association.
Previously, Mr. Goreski, who began his career designing motherboards, developed electronic boards and alphanumeric paging systems for use in the medical field. He has been a teacher for courses on Lotus, MCSE, MCP, Cisco and hardware repair. He has also developed and taught classes designed specifically for Sun Microsystems of Canada.

Mr. Goreski joins a distinguished group of experts on the ACEDS Advisory Board who hold a variety of positions in the widespread e-discovery terrain. They include a former president of the American Bar Association; and a former Chief Justice of the Florida Supreme Court; a past chair of the ABA’s National E-Discovery Institute.
