Initiative Part of Pitney Bowes’ Effort To Deliver the Best Service and Value Possible
Miami June 6, 2012 — The Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS) announced today that Pitney Bowes Legal Solutions (PBLS), a leading provider of document management, eDiscovery and litigation support services and a division Pitney Bowes Inc. (NYSE: PBI), has engaged ACEDS to provide training for its project managers, business development team and other staff members to earn the Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS) certification. Several members of the PBLS team, including Solutions Consultant Veronique Kinder and Production Manager Greg Levesque, have already passed the rigorous examination.
“Pitney Bowes Legal Solutions is pleased to provide our national team of subject matter experts with ACEDS’ industry-leading training and certification so we can provide our clients with the most advanced tools and practices to tackle any project,” says attorney Stephen D. Whetstone, Vice President and Leader of Pitney Bowes Legal Solutions. “Rather than use the same hammer for every legal discovery project, PBLS Best Site solutions leverage the right set of tools at the right price at the right location for each unique job because, when it comes to eDiscovery, one size does not fit all.”
The Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS) awards the CEDS credential to qualified candidates who pass a rigorous, proctored exam offered at more than 600 secure testing centers worldwide. The CEDS credential is held by several hundred professionals from across North America, Europe, and Asia.
Charles Intriago, a lawyer, who is president of ACEDS, says, “We’re proud that an e-discovery service provider with the cachet of Pitney Bowes Legal Solutions has taken this crucial step to assure the core competence of its project managers and staff, and provide its clients with evidence of its commitment to controlling risk and cost.”
