Leader in data and information management software joins other blue-chip firms in special, visible role with respected certification association
Miami – The Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists today announced that CommVault® has joined dozens of prestigious e-discovery and technology service providers as an ACEDS Affiliate Member. The Oceanport, New Jersey company, which delivers a single software platform called Simpana® to manage, protect and access data, serves more than 16,600 customers worldwide.
CommVault Simpana software empowers legal teams to lower risk and costs while driving efficiencies by streamlining the collection, preservation and discovery of data across a wide variety of sources spanning email stores, documents and even laptops at the “edge.” This enables customers to more effectively retain and archive information, efficiently meet e-discovery obligations, and defensibly dispose of information.
As an ACEDS Affiliate Member, CommVault will receive numerous special benefits, including access to ACEDS members, sustained presence on the ACEDS website, and references in external communications and at ACEDS conferences and seminars. ACEDS extends to Affiliate Members efficient access to ACEDS members and visitors to ACEDS.org who seek to acquire software, services and products of e-discovery and related providers.
“CommVault is committed to solving the unique challenges of legal professionals and information managers as new content types, cloud computing, consumerization of IT and evolving regulations change the e-discovery landscape,” said Jeff Echols, senior director of product marketing and business development at CommVault. “More than ever, CommVault finds it critical to partner with organizations like ACEDS to educate stakeholders, offer guidance and share the latest e-discovery best practices of this new digital era.“
ACEDS Affiliate Members Show Commitment to Excellence
“As a leader in data and information management, CommVault is a distinguished addition to the growing roster of ACEDS Affiliate Members,” said ACEDS President Charles Intriago, an attorney and former federal prosecutor.
“We are very proud that this world-renowned software company has chosen to join us, and help ACEDS continue its charter of uniting professionals within the e-discovery and technology communities,” Intriago continued.
